I’m Claire, a Graphic and Interactive Designer based just outside of Philadelphia. Creativity has been a constant in my life from a young age, whether I was crafting my own greeting cards, designing labels and bookmarks, or illustrating my own stories. In middle school, I discovered a passion for animation, spending hours creating frame-by-frame animations using Microsoft Paint and Windows Movie Maker. Little did I know at the time that these childhood pastimes would shape my future career.
Once I realized that there was a career that aligned with my passions, I decided to apply to art school despite the skepticism of my high school counselor, who urged me to pursue more "traditional" fields. Instead of applying to six schools as advised, I chose to apply to the only one I wanted to attend: Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture. It was there that I refined my skills and passion, earning a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design with a focus in brand identity in May of 2020. Despite navigating the challenges and uncertainty of a pandemic-driven job market, I secured my first professional role as an in-house graphic designer in May of 2021.
Other than brand design I also find joy in typography, layout design, and teaching myself new things in After Effects. My strong work ethic is a major source of pride for me. I approach every project (and life itself) with dedication, ambition, and a readiness to confront challenges head-on. When I'm not designing, you’ll find me doting on my beloved guinea pigs, savoring a grilled cheese sandwich, or balancing trays as a part-time server!
